Opening Handouts on Logos 5 Mac

I am having problems opening previously created handouts on my new Macbook Pro. My notes open fine as well as reading plans. However, nothing happens when I try to open any of my handouts. Is anyone else experiencing this problem? Does anyone have a solution?

Handouts have been phased out and its use discouraged. This feature was never available on L4 Mac, and isn't available in L5 Mac. Handouts can only be viewed on L5 for PC.
