WAY OFF TOPIC: Sarah Palin and I Have a Little Talk... (Please don't read if OT makes you mad.)

I thought some here might be interested--if not please move on and forgive me for the off topic post. (Maybe this illustrates the need for an off topic place in the forums?)

Yesterday I spent 12 hours of my life to get Sarah Palin to sign her book for me in the first stop of her book tour in Grand Rapids Michigan. It was lots of fun. What a great person. My wife and I were on Good Morning America, she also had her picture in the Detroit Free Press, and I am quoted and pictured on Inside Edition. Here's a link if anyone is interested:

PS, Ted, the smiley guy is in reference to me, not you. I need to hold
my tongue a bit more. I reread that and thought it might sound like a
bit arrogant like "wayyy ahead of you, hold your tongue". Rather, I
meant, "I have already been commiserating (a bit) over my own venting
and I need to watch my tongue." Your point to me was well taken.

This would not have needed to be an "off topic" post if only I had worn a "Logos" T-Shirt to the book signing! Just think--Logos would have gotten exposure on Good Morning America, Entertainement Tonight, Inside Edition and then some newspapers. If I only had a Logos shirt. Oh well. Maybe next time.

Great contest idea for the holidays. See who can get (positive) publicity wearing a Logos T-shirt.

Remember that John 3:16 clown with the rainbow afro? Maybe that publicity isn't so positive but that Logos T-shirt would look good on any network show.
