What's the difference between a member, follower and observer in the groups?

Not sure how I missed this when looking on the FSB site:
"A group member can post to the group and see all posts by group members. Observers remain anonymous while followers do not. Admins can determine which membership types are appropriate for their groups and if followers and observers are allowed to comment and post."
