Reading plan
Hello,
i just downloaded the app last night and was going to use one of the built in reading plans for advent, but whenever I try to select and generate one of the reading plans it just generates a generic 365 day genesis- revelation reading plan. Am I missing a step? I only have the iPad app and don't have logos for computer...could that be the problem?
Also, different problem, but I haven't been able to tap on a word in the esv and bring up the Greek definition and morphology. All that comes up is the standard iPad dictionary entry. Any ideas about that?

Hi Josh! Welcome to the forums. [:)]
I think there may be a bug… I just tried creating a plan from my iPhone and it didn't appear on the phone, but it did appear in L5. I then created a plan in L5, and it DID appear on my phone…
Am I missing a step?
Did you select the advent plan? Was that an option?

You have to actually own the proper resources. In this case, you will have to own both the license to the ESV & the ESV reverse interlinear. Typically these are purchased via a base package or minimal cross grade.

Thanks for the quick reply. I think you are right about the bug because I can't see any other options to click on. But I will look again. Thanks for the info about purchasing the books...I suspected that might be the case, but wanted to be sure. Thank you!

Which Advent reading plan are you both trying? I did the Luke 1:1-38 one and it seems to work fine. Is it showing under "Daily Readings" the 365 instead of the one you chose?

Which Advent reading plan are you both trying?
- Add a new reading plan via the "plus" icon on "daily readings" panel.
- Navigate to: Bible Reading Plan | New Reading Plan | Private Reading Plan | Advent Reading Plan
Unlike the OP, I am not getting a generic reading plan… I am not sure it is the same issue or not. My reading plan just doesn't show up on the mobile app it was created on… When the new plan is created, it appears on my iPad & L5.
I'm on beta if that makes a difference. Contact me if you need more.

I was trying to load the one that is called advent reading plan - 24 day advent readings. I select it, and then it gives me the option to generate the advent plan at the top of the screen, but when I select generate, it just makes a 365 day genesis to revelation plan. Ironically, it still calls the plan 24 day advent in my tabs. But when you select it, it just takes you to genesis 1-3 , 4-5, and so on.

There are known Reading Plan Generation issues that should be fixed in the upcoming release. Thanks for the report!
