BUG: Resource will not open on iPad
Tried to open "An Introduction to the New Testament: Contexts, Methods and Ministry Formation" by David deSilva on my iPad. I get a message that says there was an "error loading book"
I tried downloading the resource to my iPad and it indicates it downloaded, appears in the library as being downloaded but I get the same error.
Any suggestions

Is it opening in vyrso or faithlife?
EDIT: Another user just posted about this error with another resource. I don't know if its a software or resource bug, or perhaps server issues… but since you have the resource downloaded, I lean against that. Perhaps you could try going to airplane mode and see if it opens.

I tried airplane mode and get the same thing. I don't have the faithlife or vyrso app on my iPad. I'm thinking it is a resource problem

Me too! But my problem is with LEB. Here is what I have written on another page.
I have been having an issue also with the Lexham English Bible
download on my iPad 3. I got a message last night that two Lexham items
needed updating and one was this Bible. I don't know what happened but
when I tried to open the Lexham English Bible, I got an error message
saying "error loading book" .I tried removing the book and then redownload/installing and that
appeared successful, but I still could not open the book getting the
same error message.I have Logos for Ipad version 3.1.1 (1744) installed.
Maybe this needs to be reported again or is there a fix I am missing?

You could be right… although not necessarily. Ergatees is having the same issue with the LEB. Are you? I'm on beta and am not experiencing any issues with it. I can't check out yours because I don't own it. I would download the Vyrso app and try (the faithlife app is much larger because of the faithlife resources). If it works, you might want to try deleting the Logos app and reinstalling it. As I think you know, doing so would cause you to lose your downloaded resources (which is why I am suggesting you downloading Vyrso as another test).
Also, I assume you are on 3.1.1. Is that right?

I downloaded the faithlife app and experience the same issue with the resource I orginally posted about and the LEB

Beta for iOS is different than for desktop because Apple limits the number of beta testers developers can utilize, therefore it's a "closed" beta.

As a side note; when I deleted and reinstalled the app this morning, it updated the LEB when I started the install.

That is what I am using as well… I installed 3.1.1 on my wife's phone and she is able to open the resource… I think it might be an issue with your account. Is the LEB much used or no?
That's strange. I do not use the LEB very much, I tried to open it today on the ipad because of the way this thread has progressed. I can open it in L5 and I can open the other resource I listed in the OP in L5. I guess I will have to wait until Monday and see what Logos can do about it. Thanks for trying it on your wife's phone.
