Can I use the 'notes' in the documents tab to effectively document a complete personal study of a passage? If so, can you guys give me some advice on how to do so? Thanks!
Hey Ben,
welcome to the forums. It depends what you mean by a complete personal study. In general you can type whatever you like in the personal notes section. Open the notes section and then a new note. you can then click add a not. Create a title (for instance Genesis 1:1) and then below this you can type a bunch of notes. Having said this the functionality of the notes is good but it is basic. Another idea is to use MS word or OneNote for your typing and then cut and paste into the Personal documents of Logos...Also there is a great cheap training video on notes out there but I can''t mention the website due to forum rules....I hope this helps a bit.
Cheers, Marcus
Hi Marcos,I appreciate the info. The primary reason why I wanted to stick to using the notes section in Logos is because all of the study info is right there. I am able to type the notes while looking at the passage, word info, commentary, etc. I think I just need to learn how to organize my notes the most effective way possible and I think that you touched on it. Thanks again!
Ben
