I should not be getting any marketing emails from Logos. I got tired of Logos marketing, so I unsubscribed to everything a very long time ago. I just received a marketing email, and I want to know why.
Please see the screen shots:
Tom, you might want edit your post and repost that last image after blurring out the details of your email address and full name which show up in the image, or easier, just screen capture the email message itself without all the other personal stuff.
Others have complained of marketing emails getting through even though they have unsubscribed from everything.
I used to live in Temple Terrace battling golf balls. But your thread is a mystery. First, businesses typically don't like to fully upset their customers (but DO like to send emails out, so they can report their respective marketing bonanzas). And second, I don't get any, and my settings match yours. I even risked the Logos email-meltdown warning and said 'no'.
I wonder if their code has progressively turned into spagetti-code (likely little code pieces being quickly written for various marketing efforts that has become unmanagable).

Incoming ! Shoot down that golf ball ! [:D]

Perhaps an email to Phil, Dan, or even Bob would get the response you desire. Do you need any addresses?
I'll look into this on Monday - you should be off all the lists with the last check box checked, but if you received a marketing email then something isn't right with these settings.
Thanks David,
As it was stated earlier, I am not the only person who is receiving unwanted emails from Logos. Hopefully, this will help you to figure out why some people are receiving unwanted emails.
It appears that you've had a couple of emails that were used for the email lists. One was setup as you described with the Global Unsubscribe and not on any list. One was setup over 3 years ago and was still valid to send you emails on 3 different lists. I expect that is what you were receiving emails from. I've gone ahead and removed these ones and we should be a lot quieter on the email front now.
Thanks, I have changed my email address, but from a user's perspective - when I change my email address, the old one should no longer be active.

Yes, this is true for sure! A user might maintain multiple email addresses and decide for one reason or another to give Logos a different one as their contact address. There should be no further contact from Logos on the previous email address.
EDIT: This is, by the way, probably the solution to why others have been getting marketing emails in spite of having unsubscribed from everything. MVPs could ask such users in the future if they're getting these emails through an old email address. It would help direct Logos on how to clean up the problem in that individual's case. But the general problem needs to be fixed so this doesn't keep happening on a case by case basis.
Rosie ... I smile at your optimism. Clearly you don't expect Logos to simply fix it. I don't either but I don't know why.
