BUG: Another repeatable case of popups that don't go away

1) Run a BWS (I used g:logos).

2) Above the Ring, click Settings, so that the dropdown shows.

3) Middle-click to close the tab.

4) The whole window 'blinks' in a strange way, the panel closes, but the popup remains. As you can see this is repeatable:

5) At the top you can also see the likewise repeatable -- but still unrecognized by Logos -- popup bug reported in http://community.logos.com/forums/p/55213/406280.aspx#406280 (also note the bug version in the posts above).

6) You need to assign someone to go through every guide, tool etc, and open every possible dropdown and popup, and then close the tab with the dropdown/popup still open. Clearly there are still a lot of these lingering popups around, and we shouldn't have to spend years reporting them one by one as we happen to find them.

7) Will I still have to put up with all these popups in L5?

8) Could you go to http://community.logos.com/forums/p/59440/424298.aspx#424298 and confirm that the reported behaviour is indeed an error in the Wiki and not a bug.

I can reproduce this issue, and will report it to Development.

I am unable to reproduce this popup. Does it matter at what point in time you middle click? For instance, do you have to click just before the popup shows up, or can you click after the popup appears?

    Thanks.

I am unable to reproduce this popup.

Sometimes I wonder if bugs are more annoying when they appear or when they don't. This one was 100% consistent between my first report in the other thread, and the one above, but today all popups seem to disappear either directly or after 3-10 seconds. Admittedly a bit too long, but much better than not disappearing at all. And it wasn't SR-3, because that was downloading as I first tried.

This will be fixed in 5.0b Beta 1 for beta testers, and in general when 5.0b ships to the stable channel.
