I am fairly new to the forums (not to Logos!), so maybe I am looking in the wrong place (or maybe this is the wrong place to ask this particular question!). But here goes.
In considering the Logos 5 upgrade packages, I am wondering whether there is (for example) a
downloadable excel spreadsheet of all the individual volumes each package
contains. They list the series, but do not indicate individual volumes.
For example, the Diamond Upgrade (which I am considering) lists the
History of Israel collection (19 volumes). The upgrade guide helpfully tells me that I
own 6 of the 19, but there is no list of the ones I have (or even a list
of all 19 volumes). It would be nice if you could just click on the
History of Israel collection, and it would open up a link where it
describes the 19 volumes in detail (listing each volume title specifically), but alas, they have not done that.
So instead, I have to get to the logos site and search for the History
of Israel collection myself. I have to repeat that process over 60 times (for the Platinum upgrade--a little less for the Diamond)
If someone has made a list of every book in each package, that would
be a wonderful help--and especially if it was in excel format, or
something similar.
If not, then I have to go through manually
every single set, look up on logos's website to find the contents of the
volume, and then check which ones I own. That process will take hours and hours!
As it is, I can't tell if the upgrade price I am being charged (for Platinum, Diamond, or Portfolio) is worth it--since I own so many
volumes in each.
Thanks!
Todd
P.S. On a related note: for those with large collections, how do you personally keep track of each title you own? Do you use a database separate from Logos or an Excel spreadsheet? Or have you just given up trying to figure it out?
