iPhone 5 downloading

Can anyone tell me how do I down load books from my Logos 4 platinum to my iPhone 5?  I would like my ESV Bible for starters and anything else I feel like using.

I go to that book and the download box is there.  I click it on and it tells me I don't have this book in my library.  I don't get it.  Can this be done?  Or does the phone need to need to be plugged into my mac to do it?

    Hi

    This all sounds rather strange!

Can you clarify which app you are using on the iPhone - Bible!, Vyrso or FSB? They should all be able to do this but just worth knowing!

I go to that book and the download box is there.  I click it on and it tells me I don't have this book in my library

Before you try clicking on the download button, can you open and read the ESV resource?

Does it actually tell you that you don't have it or you can't download it?

    Can this be done?

Yes it can, we just need to work out what the problem is.

Or does the phone need to need to be plugged into my mac to do it?

No, this all works through the Internet. You are actually downloading the resource from Logos servers.

One possibility is that you aren't logged into the same Logos account under which you have purchased Logos 4. For example, if you just download the app you get online access to some resources for free including (I believe) the ESV. However, they aren't enabled for download until you have purchased them which could explain what you are seeing.

In your library on the iPhone, can you see most of the resources which you have in your Logos 4 library or can you just see 40-70 resources? (This is what you get access to for free)

I'll have to check if I'm logged in to the same account.  How do I find this out?  By the way this is the Logos app.

Under the settings menu - small cog on the iPad, I assume the same on the iPhone - it shows you the account under which you are logged in

This shows my email address, which is what I use to log into Logos.  So I surmise this is the right account?

To add just a little to Graham's comment: If you find out that you are not logged into the right account, you will have to delete the app from your device. When you redownload the app and open it up, you will be given the option to enter your credentials.

Yes. Can you post a screen shot of your library unfiltered? Also, could you take one of the behavior described above? [press and hold both physical buttons on your device. Email the screen shot (found in the photos app) to yourself].

Here is something interesting, phone was plugged into my mac and now that it is plugged in the download button on the ESV and other books are green.  So I tried it, it turned orange and it worked.  Still not wireless but it worked.  So I downloaded a NKJV Bible and a commentary.

    Glad its working. [:)]

I'm not sure what happened there, but I can guarantee that you DID download the resource wirelessly and that your phone being plugged into your mac was coincidental. You cannot transfer resources from your desktop to your mobile app. There may have been a glitch in your app. If it happens again, let us know. Perhaps you will need to do a reinstall of the app.
