Incorrect Dates from L5 Reading Plan in Faithlife.com
Hi,
I want to start getting people from my congregation to sign-up and use faithlife.com for an online study. I found one in L5 that I thought would work for us (30 Days with Jesus) and planned it out successfully in L5 to start on January 2. (Our mission statement at Holy Cross is "Living and Loving as Jesus" and the announcement of the plan is going into January's newsletter with directions on how to sign-up.)
Everything looked good in L5, and then I went into faithlife to see what it looked like there. Here's what I got:
What L5 says I should read on January 2, faithlife.com is saying I should read today. I certainly hope today isn't January 2 because I'm not done writing my Chrsitmas sermon yet, or getting the presentation done in Proclaim yet either
I know that there was an active case open a while ago for the editing of reading plans in faithlife.com (http://community.logos.com/forums/p/53109/387893.aspx#387893) but August was a long time ago and a search of the forums didn't come up with anything else.
Does anyone know how I can sort this out because I really want to get people to engage the scriptures on faithlife.com but don't want them to go to the site and get the wrong date information for the readings? (since it is a group plan)
Peace & Blessings,
Colin+
P.S.: The other urgency is the church secretary wants to get the January newsletter done and we all know not to upset church secretaries

I'm excited to hear that you want to get members of your congregation using Faithlife! The case reported in http://community.logos.com/forums/p/53109/387893.aspx#387893 seems unrelated to what you're seeing.
I'll open up a case for this issue. This problem may be an oversight in design. It looks like we are always retrieving the next reading for the plan, not necessarily "Today's" reading.
Thanks!

Hi Patrick ... Thanks for looking into it.
I'll need to think about what to do about the newsletter piece as I don't want people reading at different points in the plan.
Peace & Blessings,

We are planning on adding the date of the reading to all readings that are not scheduled to be read "today" to help avoid confusion. That change should be going out within the next few days. Do you think that will address your concerns?

Hi Thomas,
That sounds good to me.
In the mean time I pulled the plan from faithlife and I'll put it back Jan 2.
Peace & Blessings,
