BUG: Problems with Daily Reading Plan
With the new year, we began a church-wide reading plan through the New Testament using Faithlife. I am very excited about the number of people who are participating. In addition to helping people read their Bibles, we get to help Logos fix some bugs!
A bug that was brought to my attention today has to do with the reading plan widget and bible.faithlife.com. The widget on the faithlife page is not reflecting the current reading schedule for some (showing them behind, taking them to the wrong passage when the reference is clicked). Also, the bible does not show a "mark as read" option. Please check into these things. I don't want to start losing people already because they are confused with the tools!
Thank you!

I should clarify: the Bible does show "Start Reading" at the beginning of the selection, but no indicator at the end. This is a good way to encourage people to read more, at least for one day!

Thanks for the report Aaron! The issue with inconsistent start and end indicators on bible.faithlife.com should be fixed now. Please let us know if you still see it cropping up!
Regarding the widget showing folk as behind when it shouldn't: is it possible that due to the lack of reading plan markers showing up that Norm read the reading for the day but didn't mark it as read (via the checkbox in the widget on Faithlife.com, the checkbox in the devotions sidebar section on Bible.faithlife.com, or by clicking "Mark read" at the end of the reading)?

I also noticed that some of my Private reading plans were showing up as "behind" even though the are not. There could be a connection issue between Logos and Faithlife. Our Reading Plan was not showing up the App at all, but after reading the first day and checking the "Mark Read" box (which I saw on ours), the reading plan became visible in the App. Hope this helps narrow the reading plan issues down.
