L3 resources in L5 - Request

I got the Portfolio 5 upgrade. I know it has resources not in L4's Portfolio package that have been part of the Logos stable for many years. However, I didn't get one of the usual L3 file lists at the bottom of my Orders page. Now, I fully understand why I didn't get one--but, since it never hurts to ask, I will ask now.

Would it be possible for Logos to generate such a files report and send it out? It would be immensely helpful to not have to do the intensive cryptology required to match resources with their arcane ftp filenames on the L3 ftp page. Being still only about 2/3 of the way through my daunting weeks-long transfer of my Library to nested folders in Favorites, it sure would be nice not to have another weeks-long procedure staring at me. I really don't know how to identify & match the files to the resources without the usual list on the orders page. The ftp page just has the alphabet soup filenames.

I realize not all L5 resources have L3 files associated with them, and that's fine. But many do, and a report with links to the correct files would be tremendously helpful. Thanks!! Wilted Flower

+1 [Y] for Logos 5 Portfolio update script for subset of resources that are available for Libronix 3. Thankful for Master Library Bundle XL script, which is on orders page.

I don't think syncing is a two-way street, though I might be wrong. I know that L3 can sync downstream to L4 & L5, but I don't think that can be reversed in an upstream, backward-compatible fashion. I'd love to be wrong about that.

Upgraded from Logos 4 Platinum to Logos 5 Portfolio. Used Libronix 3.0g to synchronize licenses. Downloaded Logos Bible Software 4 Portfolio update script from wiki => http://wiki.logos.com/JG_Resources_for_Logos_3 Now downloading 700 MB of new resources.

Personally wish for a Logos 5 set of Libronix 3.0g Update Scripts; perhaps Logos could create one more wiki page.

Ah, very interesting! So the script that worked for 3 to 4 also works for 3 to 5, eh? Not sure I understand how or why, but I might give it a try.

Thanks David for the heads-up. I haven't paged down on the order page that far (though it's a little depressing to see what my order total is).

Presuming I were to die 'early', I don't know which might be worse: that secret romance or the Logos order total.

I wish the Libronix icon would show on those resource pages which still have L3 versions but I can understand why not.

Still grateful for the list of L3 files for resources in L5...but there is an issue that is taking quite a bit of the shine off the gift.

There are two problems that are keeping me from using the files in a credibly useful way. First, the file list is not arranged aplhabetically. The files are at best in a scattered and clumped ABC order, but that description is perhaps too generous--things are pretty random. But that's not all--every time I reload my Orders page, the list of multiple hundreds of Portfolio files get REARRANGED! The upshot is that there is no reasonable way to keep track of which files I have downloaded and which I haven't.

Is this a fixable issue? Fixed alphabetical would be preferable, but fixed non-alphabetical would be an acceptable option.

Better yet, is there a way to globally get these files added to L3 so that I don't have to download each one manually?
