Crash 5.0b Beta 2: Show Community Ratings
[quote]Note: Due to a change in implementation, the ‘At Startup Open to’ setting will need to be reset from the default.
Also noticed that the 2x Community options had been reset to Yes. Clicked on Show Community Ratings and Logos crashed.
UPDATE: on restarting the option showed NO and I was able to set Show Community Tags to NO. The LibraryCatalog folder showed 5 temporary indexes from the time of the crash, but Community Ratings are still showing in the database.

In trying to fix the above issue with Ratings:-
I changed Show Community Ratings to YES and restarted Logos. Then I changed it to NO, observed that the Catalog Index was being updated & that the Ratings are no longer present in the Catalog.db BUT Community Tags are now present and displayed in Resource Information. Show Community Tags remained at NO throughout all this!

BOTH community ratings and tags are populated/displaying when the settings to show them are set to NO.And I can't see either even when set to YES
I haven't been able to reproduce these exact scenarios. Do you have reproduction steps for getting this to occur?
I was able to get the Community Ratings information to not display, even when the setting was set to YES. Getting the program to this state involved first setting both community information settings to NO and then setting only the Ratings setting to YES. Setting the Tags setting to YES after this did not solve the issue (but did cause the Tags data to display).
Currently, a work around it to first set both settings to NO, and then set both settings to YES. This will cause the Ratings and Tags information to display. If you only want the Rating information to display, then setting the Tag setting to NO will work as expected.
EDIT: I will report this scenario to Development.

There are a number of similar scenarios that do not produce the expected result but yours should be sufficient for Development to fix the issue.

This is similar to how I eventually got both settings to work with NO values (with a restart thrown in for good measure).

This issue will be fixed in 5.0b RC 2.
