Im curious as to what/how this NEW feature work. Any help?

I assume "library catalog filtering" just means filtering your library. For example: edition:e will show you all of your Vyrso books; mytag:family will show all of the books you have tagged as "family"; title:hope will show all books with "hope" in the title.

What is doesn't imply - but what seems to be the case - is you can now combine filters:
"filter1 AND filter2" now works as you would expect - which is a great step forward.
It would still be nice to have a "local:" filter as there is on Android!
