How do I cancel "download all"
After increasing my library, I don't have enough space on my iPad. How in the world can i cancel downloading books from my iPad. I tried to reinstall app, still it loads unwanted books.

What version of the desktop app are you running? In the latest beta, there is the ability to select books to download. I believe there is also the ability to remove devices from the Logos website. It may be that you need to remove the device for the website, delete the app, and reinstall.

If you go in and view your library, swipe down like you are going to the top of the list (even though you are already there) and you should see an option for "Cancel all downloads" if you are downloading, or "Download All" if you are not downloading.

I tried to cancel, and seems like it was cancelled, but it starts to download again after the first sync.
EDIT: Technically "Cancel all downloads" DOES NOT cancels it, but Pauses it, I think it should be renamed "Pause all Downloads", and Logos should include REAL "Cancel all downloads" function where I could cancel them completely

I am not sure you understood me. Its iPad app. I thought there is no need to mention it since I posted under Iphone/Ipad

No… I understood you perfectly… but I guess you didn't understand me. [:)]
The new beta version of the DESKTOP app has download controls over the MOBILE app. Also, somewhere in the bowels of the Logos website is a new area under your account which will allow you to remove devices from Logos. I THINK (but don't know for sure) that if you were to 1) delete the app, 2) delete the device from your account via the Logos website and 3) reinstall the app that your problem will be solved.

This in under the Account Details tab

There MAY be a way of doing it slightly more easily - but I haven't tested it so am unsure (as Alabama says this requires the latest release of the desktop software (which has just gone to RC1 stage)
In the screenshot (from L5 library) below I have selected a set of commentaries which are all downloaded to my iPad and some to my Android phone. As you can see there seem to be options to manipulate a set of resources at a time including the option to "Clear all". This should address the problem you are seeing.

This is a cool feature, thank you Graham and Alabama24 for letting me know, but for now I do not want to switch to Beta channel since I am using 1 PC only.

I just tried this steps, still it downloads the whole library. I just want to go back to previous state where I could see the whole library on my Ipad and download only what I need, not all. Seems to me there is no way to do it manually, except calling to costumer service. I wish there would be a way to really "cancel all downloads", not just pause it

The beta is in the RC1 stage, so Logos thnks it is nearly ready. It may ship this week or next to stable. From the look of Graham's screenshot, I wonder if it would allow you to delete all downloads to the device.
I think it might - but not sure!
The "Clear all" button doesn't seem to do what I had expected - not sure what it is designed to doHowever, I unchecked the tickbox for the commentary series I had selected on the iPad and they are all no longer showing as downloaded.
However, even after syncing and force killing / restarting the app the resources are still actually downloaded onto the iPad.
So something isn't quite right here.
I'll report this in the beta forum.

Hi Slava,
"Cancel all downloads" actually does work but probably not quite as expected. If the app is in the process of downloading resources (for example, if it's already partially downloaded five resources), those resources will need to finish downloading first before the Cancel will take effect. (I consider this a bug and will write up a case for it).
So, if you tap "Cancel all resources" and it appears to work, but then you restart the app and the "Cancel all resources" button appears again, it's because those partial resources have not yet finished downloading. Just wait a few minutes for the resources that are already partially downloaded to finish, and then the automatic downloads should stop.

It seems like a bug. I canceled all downloads, and after restart, around 60-70% of my resources are marked with blue info icon. When I press on them, it says downloading....

Why did you restart? Don't do that! Based on what Kevin wrote, you should press the cancel download button, and allow it to finish downloading the books. You might need to baby the downloads for a bit. I'd give it 5-10 minutes.
When I press on them, it says downloading....
What do you mean "when I press on them?" To start downloading resources, you are supposed to press them… so its doing what you are asking it to do… or am I not understanding you? Perhaps a screen shot would help… I'd try the steps above first though.

I mean when I press on the info, it shows the status, and around 60-70% of my resources are marked with a blue info icon which mean they are downloading. I can't try now because I use my cellphone Internet. But I pretty sure there is no point to wait, when so many resources are marked as downloading now.

Hi Slava,
Resources are not downloaded in parallel - they are downloaded one at a time. So, anything that shows a blue "i" with a gray circle is simply tagged for downloading but the download hasn't started yet. Note there is a small blue part in the circle at the very top, but this does not indicate the resource is currently downloading:
If the resource shows a blue "i" as well as a blue circle, that resource is in the process of downloading. If you tap "Cancel all downloads" while that resource is downloading, the next time you start the app that resource will finish downloading, after which the downloads will stop:
So, if you don't wait long enough for the currently downloading resource to finish downloading and simply press "Cancel all downloads" again, the download will start again the next time you restart the app. This is why I suggested that you wait until it finishes; the app knows that you've pressed "Cancel all downloads" but it doesn't clear the currently downloading resource - it needs to finish it before stopping.
I hope this makes sense. We can certainly do things better than this and I will write up cases for these issues to make it more clear about what is actually happening during the download process.

I think I am all set now, no more downloads [:D] Thank you Kevin, and Alabama24 for your help
