Can anyone suggest one or two biographies about Athanasius?
I know that L4 has the book Getting to Know the Church Fathers: An Evangelical Introduction, which I have already, but something more in depth would be much appreciated.

mm.
In Logos I am not aware of anything. But Khaled Anatolios' work is quite good. I have his volume of Routledge's Early Church Fathers series which is about 1/3 about his life and thought and 2/3 sections of his works, but his monograph St. Athanasius, the Coherence of his Thought is probably more what you are looking for.
There is also quite a bit of good stuff out there about the Nicene Crisis.
Just looked it up on Amazon. Looks like something to purchase.

thanks.
I purchased this book some time ago...don't know how good it is because I haven't gotten around to reading it yet!
Leithart, Peter J. Athanasius. Grand Rapids, MI: Baker, 2011.

Terry? pretty funny. You sound like a lot of us who buy books and then get to them later. I just ordered three books on Athanasius. Two by Anatolios and the book you just referenced.
I'll let you know what I thought of Leithart's book.
This used to be in Vyrso, but has now been moved to prepub: Baker Academic Early Church Collection (14 vols.). Besides what you can read there, MJ has a post about it at http://logos4catholics.org/index.php?topic=968.msg1132#msg1132.
