Will you ever support an alternative document type than .docx. For those of us that are Apple users, .docx is not a native format and makes it almost impossible to create personal books...
.docx is not a native format
How are ".doc" or ".pdf" file types (from the subject line) native formats?
Hey Robert! Welcome to the forums. [:)]
I doubt support will come for those file formats, especially .pdf's, which aren't editable text. As an Apple user, there are free options such as Libre Office. By the way, .docx files aren't "native" to windows either. It is the new(ish) Microsoft Office Word document format. I keep hoping that Apple will add .docx write support to Pages. (Read support for .docx file is already provided.)

Donnie- I think Robert just means that the Mac can write those files "out of the box."
My somewhat rhetorical point was that the same thing is true of Windows, which can't write .doc, .docx, or .pdf files out of the box.

Alabama24 - That did the trick! Saved my content to Pages. Exported to .doc. Then imported to Libre Office. Then exported to .docx. Then added as a personal book in Logos! A lot of effort but worked! Still would be nice is Logos added .doc support directly! Thanks for your help! R. Patrick
