Feature Request - Offline Passage Guide
Are there any plans in the future for an offline passage guide? It would be nice to have access to that feature for downloaded resources.

I have not heard... but remember: your passage guide works on your desktop because 1) you have ALL of your resources downloaded and 2) you have an index file. That capability does not yet exist in mobile, which is why the guide is prepared on the logos servers. I think the best we could hope for in the near future would be the ability to run the guide online, but access it when we move offline. This may be tricky as well due to hardware memory limitations.

I would love to see this happen on all mobile platforms. It doesn't seem like it would be that difficult to implement. Similar to what I suggested (wished for) in this thread: http://community.logos.com/forums/t/57395.aspx ; it seems like it should be easy to download a pre-genereated, basic index for commentaries, bible notes, and x-refs whenever a user downloads that resource. When an off-line passage guide is requested, it can use the local index. Doesn't have to be a full index, Doesn't have to do everything. Just a de-rated off-line mode for basic reference lookup. Please?!?

Perhaps the solution is to purchase a Microsoft Surface Pro? A 10.1 inch tablet that can run the desktop Logos app. Sadly $900 is too much for me.
