Bible study questions?

What Logos resources have good bible study questions? That give you a good work-out so you understand the main ideas, and themes etc of the text more clearly.

I know the Bible Speaks today series commentary have questions for each chapter of the commentary to help you engage with the text.

What would you suggest and what works for you?

You might want to look at the Standard Lesson Commentary. Here is the link to 2012-2013 lessons http://www.logos.com/product/17834/standard-lesson-ecommentary-2012-2013. They are not very expensive so you might want to have a look at them. I think it is better to study the text and come up with your own questions, and search out the answers in the scriptures and then your Logos Library. Of course you can do that with lessons someone else has done as well by supplementing their material with your own questions. If you are looking at a particular book of the bible to study you might search on the website for "Lesson" and that Bible book. I have been part of an online group where we work through the Bible, currently in Ruth. The owner of the website creates lessons which are mostly observation questions and applications based on a chapter of the Bible.

I think it should be ok to post the link here as she is not selling anything and is not in any way competing with Logos. http://read-the-bible.webs.com/ use her materials and then use my Logos Library to did deeper. She covers a chapter each weekday and I can't keep up with that rate with the time I have and the depth I like to dig in my resources. You posed an excellent question and I am eager to see how others here will respond. God bless you in your studies.

you ask the most sublime questions. From a seekers standpoint I agree with Michael. Pray over issues as they present themselves in a real life setting. Then have the Holy Spirit guide you to scripture that you chew on and work out your own questions and answers.

From a teachers standpoint, a more systematic approach is called for. Here, rigorous study is called for personally approaching the bible as it has encouraged us in the Word itself. Line upon line, precept upon precept, here a little there a little; I paraphrase Is 28.10.

As far as a resource, I would recommend the well heeled 4000 Questions and Answers on the Bible by A. D. Adams it is not a Logos offering but is very affordable and extremely useful.
