Didn't the L3 PBBs have to be in a Word doc format? If so why can't people who had those post them in that format for use in L4/L5 PBBs?
All you would have to do is change it to Docx and build it. RIGHT??
You are correct if "change" meant "save as." You can't just rename the .DOC file to .DOCX.

Actually, Libronix PBBs had to be in HTML, not DOC. So, at a minimum the HTML files would have to be converted to DOCX. Also, I found that some of the previous tagging had to be redone, so it is not always a straightforward proposition.
Is there some place people upload their HTML/Doc files for people to build their own books?
See http://www.stilltruth.com/ for Libronix PBB (compiled only) and L4/5 source files. The difference is that you needed a licence to build Libronix PB's (and you got a licence to read with certain base packages) whereas anyone can build/read Logos 4/5 PB's.
