Going from a note document to the resource where the note is

I'm using the iPod Touch version of the iOS app (v. 3.2.1). What I would like to do is the following:

  1. From my list of Documents (fourth screen under the Search Tab), open a Note Document that contains notes from a single resource (e.g., Lyle Dorsett's A Passion for God).
  2. From the list of notes, select one and jump to the spot in the resource to which that note is linked.

This works in L5 on the Mac, but it appears not to work on the iPod version---or am I just missing something?

If I tap the note, it brings up the edit window for the note. It would be nice if either a tap on the left edge of the note (where the resource reference is) or a long-tap would jump to the resource.
