No flash on iPad :( - Galaxy???
I am currently enrolled in Knox Online MABTS Program. I have an iPad and I run Logos on it. One think I notice that all the lectures and media for the course are Flash. Is there anyway to view flash on an iPad? I know Steve Job's had a thing against flash and was wondering if anyone knows if Apple will ever let Flash onto their devices? But for now is there anyway to play flash.
If not I am thinking of trading in my iPad for a Galaxy. A hard decision but it would be so much easier to watch the lectures on a tablet instead of being stuck to my desk or having to carry around my macbook pro.
Has anyone used Logos on Android? Is it the same as on Apple?
Thanks!
Steve

Flash cannot run on iOS devices, and Adobe has ceased development of mobile flash. There are alternative ways to view this material, but not ideal.
The mobile version of Logos is more developed on iOS than Andriod.

I looked into a few of the flash playing browsers and Skyfire was what i decided worked best.
So a hardy [Y] [Y] on the recommendation in my mind.

As an editorial comment, Flash needs to die a quick and painful death. It's garbage. Nothing causes browsers to crash or hang more often, and only the Java plug-in rivals it for security holes.
Rather than trying to find workarounds to be able to view Flash-based, it would be better to inform content providers that you won't consume / purchase their content until it can be viewed in something other than Flash (trivially easy now with HTML 5 browsers, especially with Firefox giving in on the H.264 format).

While that might make you feel better, it is of no help if you have a real need to view something that is only available in flash. The world will not always conform to you, you sometimes have to conform to reality.

When I need to view something that is only available in Flash, which for me is multiple times every week - my required seminary lectures - I download the .flv files to my local drive and use VLC Media Player to watch them.
Flash is disabled or not installed in my browsers.
