Hi
I am using Logos 5.0b SR-1 (5.0.2.0727) on Windows 7 under Parallels.
Step to re-create crash:
7220.Logos Log Files.zip
Work around:
Hello LimJK,
I am unable to reproduce this. If you load your home page at 120%, it does not crash? Can you load the home page, then hit F5 to refresh it?
Does the crash still occur?
I can't reproduce it but it isn't isolated - this is the 3rd occurrence of this Home Page crash in the last 24 hrs I've seen and responded to:-
"Element of type 'System.Windows.Documents.Floater' cannot be placed..."

Mike,
It does not crash when program scaling is 120% ... (?)

Mike + Dave,
Not sure if it is related (?) ... Now Home Page loads correctly for both Program Scaling at 100% and 120%.
I changed my Graphics settings on Parallels 8:
I have been on the original low video settings for a long time, to conserve battery. When I get some time I will do some more experiments and report back here.

Sorry Guys,
Looks like it has nothing to do with Graphics Settings on Parallels 8. I switch it back to my original low Video settings.
Not sure what has happened 24 hours ago?
My homepage also makes L5 crash. I open to a saved layout and everything is fine Until I try to open the homepage. It opens to about 75% of the screen with the top resources in the layout still showing at the bottom of the screen. The program quits responding the crashes.
We may have a work around to apply for this issue. If you're still experiencing the crash, please call support for direct assistance. Meanwhile, we are also collecting data to try and identify the source of the problem and address it, preventing future problems.
I tried to open homepage after changing scaling to 120% and still crashed. Logs attached. I did notice the (windows windows) notation at the end of the log. Not sure I want to spend the time calling Tech support. I guess I will stay away from the homepage for awhile.
Ken, your crash is not related to this Home Page error as it is the same DiskI/O error you had before, related to Preferences files. You should contact Support about this as the previous fix did not work.
