Text to PowerPoint?

When using the "Copy Bible" function into PowerPoint, the text is placed into a new slide and not into the slide where the cursor is located. As it does in Word.

Is there any way in which the copy function can be set to copy verses into the active slide, where the cursor is located?

There is not a way to do this except to copy, then manually paste into the slide of choice.
