Clean Logos App install ... without library
I have been attempting the above - too many books on ipad! When I delete app and reinstall, it is automatically downloading books from revious install.
1. I need a totally clean install (books on Vyrso for reading, I do not need on Logos app)
2. My memory was very full - I need to do a more selective library
3. Search Forum without success.
My experience has been that you guys are the experts!
In anticipation,

Hi Colin
Are you using the latest versions of either L4 or L5 on the desktop?
If so, within the Library, you can control which resources are downloaded
Ensure that the "Devices" column is selected (using right-click on the column headings) and then click on Devices to group by them.
In the screenshot above, I have opened the section relating to my iPad.
I can then select a range of resources (click the first one and then shift-click the second) with the Info panel open on the right.
Here you can adjust which of the resources are downloaded to which app on which device.
There have been some issues with this function - particularly as it relates to iPad - but hopefully this will get you going.

Graham, thank you for this:
1. I have Logos 5 on iPad 1
2. Have followed your steps, and have found devices in Library on desktop
3. Have highlighted iPad and got to your second illustration
4. But cannot seem to get any further.
I highlighted 4 items - but how do I get them off the ipad ?
I am a slow learner ...

What you should be able to do is to uncheck the iPad-related box in the "Download to..." section in the Information Panel on the right-hand side
Then select another resource to deselect the ones you want to remove which should force the change to take effect.
Then, once the changes have synchronised to the Logos servers - and you have allowed this to filter through to the iPad (one way of doing this is a forced-close and restart of the app) - then the resources should be removed.
Having said that, I've just tried it here and it doesn't seem to be working.
As mentioned earlier, there were some problems in this area but I thought they had been resolved. Or maybe I haven't understood exactly what steps need to be taken for this to work.
Hopefully Logos will be able to comment on this after the weekend.

Just bumping this to see if anyone from Logos is able to comment on either:
- what I am doing wrong
- why the software isn't doing what I was expecting[:)]

Hi Graham,
Which versions of Logos Desktop and Logos for iOS are you running? I followed your steps and everything appears to be working fine for me, but I'm running Logos 5.1 Beta 2 and the latest dev code for iOS.

Thanks Graham,I've reproduce this issue in 3.2.3.2022 but it's fixed in 3.2.4.2034 (3.2.4 Beta 1) which we released today. It should be fixed in the next stable release. I also noticed another issue or two with the Desktop side that I'll write cases for.0 -
Thanks Kevin
Appreciated, Graham
