add item -> image slideshow
under the settings you can change the time each slide is shown and check repeat so it will loop forever. (until you go to the next item)

Are you adding it to the "service" area?
You can't loop an item in the pre-service loop
Also it will be greyed out until you add some images and set the duration

we have ten items in the pre service loop that we run before service starts. some are content some are image slideshow. Some of these are timed at 8 seconds others are only 5 seconds some are ten seconds. They are our promotional items. We run the same ten items in the middle of the service during offering. I would like for these ten items to run in a loop until the offering is collected and we move onto a song. The choice for repeat is not available.

I have figured out what you are talking about the problem is that it is just adding images upon images. As if I created the slides in powerpoint converted them to images and then imported them. My problem is that we have some editable content also within our preservice loop. What I would like to do is add another continous loop like the one available before the service and at the end of the service to the middle of the service.

at the moment I have three content slides in a row then two image slides then one more content slide then five more images. Each one of them have the box checked auto-advance some are more seconds then the other. We have the exact same set up in the pre service loop which runs as a continous loop until we manually advance to the service. Then mid service we would like to run this set of slides in a loop for the offering but when it gets to the end slide it automatically advances to the next slide which is a song. There is no option to check repeat for it is shadowed and the slides are all ready timed as mentioned before. This seems like it should ber an easy fix. The only way we have be able to get around it is to not have checked auto advance on the last slide and have to manually click on the begining again.

did you try "add image slideshow"
from there you can add multiple slides/images and set it to repeat until you tell it to go to the next slide.

i wish you could talk to someone, no one seems to get what I am trying to do and I do not seem to get how to do it. It seems like it should be so simple. I have created content slides and image slideshow slides for the pre service loop. I have then duplicated them to run in the service portion of the service. I cannot make them repeat it is not an option. I cannot figure out how to link them together. There is no way to grab my existing slides and images from files available.

oooohhhh i got you... i don't think you can tell Proclaim to loop back to several slides prior to the one you are on.
I think I did something similar when using propresenter but not sure if you can do it in Proclaim. The content slides are something you need to change frequently? they couldnt be made in photoshop or even powerpoint and imported as graphics? I could see this being a pain if they need to be changed quickly

the other problem to linking all the slides together is that you can only set one auto advance time some of the slides have more content and take longer to read. Proclaim people please allow us to add acontinous loop like the one at the end and begining to the service.

Hello Steve,
You are correct that we do not have the feature to embed a loop containing multiple ServiceItems within the middle of a presentation. If you can't achieve your desired behavior with the repeat function and a single ServiceItem with multiple slides here is something to try:
Add your desired loop items to the post-service loop. Then when you get to offering, simply manually navigate to the post-service loop (by clicking on the first item in the loop), and when offering is over navigate back to where you were in the Service section. This requires some manual intervention, but so would breaking out of a loop anyways.
Hope this helps,
Jeremy
