Two seperate groups can see each others posts

I have several groups where I am admin. One is my family group, which is secret, and then two for church which are private. My family can see several post from other people in the different groups. Looking at the different notification settings and group settings I do not see anything that would correct this. I am not afraid of what they might see, but for the sake of privacy I really wish the two were not able to see each others posts. Even if I were to post on one groups page there is no reason the other group should be able to see it or the replies. Any suggestions?

Using Kindle Fire's with 4.0, IOS running latest software.

Thank you Tom for you help. It was user error. When we post in the "My Faithlife" main page everyone who you are friends with can see the post. To make them private we must post in the individual groups we are interacting with. It was so simple my 8 yr old told me this was how it was, but I posted in here anyway. Should have listened to him.
