Recently bought the Concise Oxford English Dictionary 11 (COED11.) If I open it in Logos 4 and start typing a word into its search box, there are pauses lasting seconds between characters. Any suggestions on speeding this up?
The associated index file (LLS_COED11_2009_10_27T17_44_36Z.mstidx) is huge (13MB.) In case it was corrupt, I tried deleting it and restarting L4, but it made no difference.
Most other resources respond instantly -- even large one like 4-Vol ISBE.
Hardware=Core 2 Duo laptop with 4GB RAM. OS=Win7 62-bit.
