Links to Bible references miss by one verse

Not a new issue with recent builds but an annoying issue nevertheless:

Open my locally stored copy of Connect the Testaments Daily Devotional to today's date, touch the link to todays reading (Psalm 20:1-9) [does not seem to matter which day], this brings up a pop-up window with the first verse of Psalm 20 at the bottom of which is "Jump to reference". To me this means that it should jump to show Psalm 20 in my favourite Bible starting at verse 1 and displaying as much of the first 9 verses as the screen size will allow.  Well it jumps to Psalm 20 in my favourite Bible (locally stored NRSV) but the top of page shows verse 2 not verse 1.  I hope this is not by design assuming that I already read verse 1 in the pop up ?  Would like it to jump to the anticipated Verse 1 at the top of screen.  Most of these devotional references are to full chapters of scripture or full Psalms etc. Having a full page view of the start of the intended reading would be much prefered to any assumption that I am OK with carrying the text of the first verse in my head from the pop-up while I wait for the rest of the text to be displayed.  Not sure if this is an unintended bug or is by a design different than what I would have expected. Thoughts?

I just tested this out and clicking on the the Psalm 20:1-9 link navigated the NRSV to Psalm 20:title.

Can you confirm the version of the NRSV you have downloaded is 2013-01-23T23:27:02Z?  The book version is listed at the bottom of the Book Info page accessible by clicking on the (i) next to the book title in the library list or by swiping down in the read view and pressing the (i) in the upper right hand corner. I'm wondering if maybe your NRSV is out of date and it's not jumping to the correct location.

    Hi Gabe:

    NRSV version is

    LLS:1.0.50
    2013-01-23T23.27:02Z

Problem the same today, again using the Connect the Testaments Daily Devotional which has three different scripture readings for today:

With link to Psalm 21:1-13, starts display at verse 2

Somewhat different with the link to 1 Corinthians 11:17-34, starts dislay at verse 16 (even though verse 17 is in a new paragraph with its own heading "Abuses at the Lord's Supper"

The link to Numbers 24-25 (chapters 24 and 25) does actually go to the beginning of chapter24 and dislay as expected. (no verse specified in the link)

Similar problem if I use the Revised Common Lectionary which currently shows the readings for Palm Sunday:

Link to Psalm 118:1-2, jumps to display verse 2 at the top of page

Link to Luke 19:28-40 jumps to verse 27 at the top of page.

Issues are the same if I switch my preferred Bible to the International Standard Version (ISV).

The problem does not seem to depend on which Bible Version or which resource contains the link: so far at least it seems to consistently jump one verse off, one verse late in  the Old Testament links and one verse early in the New Testamanet links.

    Interesting....

I can reproduce the issue now. We'll look into it. Thanks for the report.

This will be fixed in the next update. Thanks for reporting.

The problem had to do specifically with clicking on links to reference ranges.
