Tool Bar Icon's Tip Label No Longer Present

When you place icons on the custom toolbar, in previous editions, a tip window identifying the icon (BKC, NKJV, Cited By, Favorites, etc.) opened when the mouse hovered over the icon informing the user what the icon referenced. After I updated this morning, those tip windows no longer open. So when I hover over the icon, I can't find out what it references.

Using a Mac PowerBook with 16g RAM. With Logos 5 for Mac.

Presumably you're not on beta.

This won't solve the issue, but just to narrow it down, on the Windows latest stable, the tips appear to be healthy (eg names, search-text, time-line time range, etc).

What version of OSX? What version of Logos? Have you done the un-mac like thing of restarting your computer?

I have the latest version of OSX.

I am currently sitting in a Logos Camp 1 (15th time, not a new user[:)]); Art's looked at it and we can't figure out why this is happening. It worked before I did the recent update.

I can still see them on 10.6.

I think you mean MacBook Pro (there were PowerBooks in Apple's past, but they were pre-intel machines). Is it a retina display MacBook Pro?

I lost the tips when I moved over to my 13" MBP Retina. Huge inconvenience but I almost have them memorized now.

Tools tips here do not currently work on retina display Macs. Though not ideal, you can display the names of the shortcuts in the shortcut bar while we are working on the issue.

Yeah, if you don't have Secondary Click enabled you can hold the control key down and click it to gain the same result.

I notice that I can no longer hover my mouse over a word in the KJV and get the Greek morphology at the bottom. Is this a Logos 5 change or another Retina issue? I do get the morphology on mouse over for greek texts.

Lankford - If you get it for other texts, I don't think it is a retina issue. Have you tried the various KJV versions?

I just realized the hover over text morphology window appears when you turn off the bottom reverse interlinear window. In Logos 4 you could have both. I'm assuming this was a change in Logos 5 for the sake of redundancy??

Yep, just tried it on another computer. Really handy feature that was removed (I assume).
