Update Installer Credentials, MAC OS 10.8.3
This isn't a complaint, or a bug report, but I wanted to let the devs know that OSX has asked me for my credentials randomly the past several builds. I was asked for my username & password on my MacBook for the update today, but NOT on my iMac. On another build I was asked for my credentials on my iMac, but NOT my MacBook. Submitting credentials is typical for most any program on my computer during an update process… but never for Logos until recently. I also think it strange that I sometimes have needed to provide it for one computer but not the other.

I wonder if this issue from the Release Notes applies to Macs?

I don't know. Good question… but it doesn't explain why credentials weren't required on my iMac. This isn't a "big deal" to me, but thought I would let the devs know "just in case."
