Bible 2.3.9 Split Screen Problem?
I don't know if this has been pointed out or discussed before...
On previous versions of the Android app, if one wanted a split screen to view two different resources, the grey quarter/semi-circle would be tapped-and-held then slid to whatever position was desired.
Last night, however, as I tried to demonstrate this feature to my wife, I would tap-and-hold but as I began to slide the quarter/semi-circle the dialog box for syncing the two panes would immediately appear (and it was impossible to slide the q/s-circle to any position). Later I discovered that the only way I could split the screen was to double tap the q/s-c resulting in an immediate 50-50 split. Surely, this isn't the way this feature is supposed to work, is it? Or did I miss the secret memo with the new instructions?

i updated the other day to 2.3.9 and have noticed the same problem (using a Nexus 7). i that you have to quickly move the grey quarter circle immediately after touching it. Otherwise the popup link/sync box appears. In the older version that i was running there was no link/sync popup, so i did not need to be so quick when touching the grey quarter (or half circle). This was frustrating until i figured it out.

Hi JRS,
If you just drag the semi-circle it should resize the panes appropriately. If you tap and hold, it's intended behavior for the Panel Settings dialog to appear. I hope this helps.

Doh! [head slap] I think I will just rock quietly while I watch for the mailman ... then, I may take another whack at trying to get rid of the flashing "12:00" on the VHS machine.
