Logos 5 beta keeps crashing on mac

I use my Macbook about once a week and apparently I have gotten a corrupted Database of some sort cause Logos opens and even pulls up a layout but as soon as one book is opened it crashes. The indexer won't go past stage 2 before it crashes.
I was wondering if someone could remind me how one goes about deleting layout files etc. I can't remember.

You should post logs... Links to instructions can be found in my signature line.

Sorry John, I was using my iPhone to view your post and may have misunderstood. Thanks for the logs… you do have a corrupted database file, but I am not techie enough to know which one. I think a Logos employee gave me guidance about this message once before… I'll see if I can dig it up. If not, hopefully a techie will be along to tell you specifically which one is crashing the app.
Were you wanting to know how to load to a blank layout? Press and hold the command key (on mac) immediately upon startup. There will be a box to check.

Hi, John,Before deletion, could you please upload the following files for analysis?
- UserPreferences/PreferencesManager.db
- UserPreferences2/PreferencesManager.db
To find them, follow these steps:- Open Finder.
- In the menu bar, open the "Go" menu.
- Select "Go to Folder ..."
- Enter "~/Library/Application Support".
- Navigate to Logos4/Documents/%obfuscated_folder% (where %obfuscated_folder% is the actual user subfolder you find under Documents).
You should find the files in the UserPreferences and UserPreferences2 subfolders. If you would please clearly label which file came from which folder, that would be great.
Once you've uploaded the files, feel free to delete them from your local machine. Please let us know if that doesn't resolve your crash.

Deleting these files did not fix my problem

The indexer is still crashing IDK if its of significance but it says
5 objc_exception_throw [0x95f17149 - libobjc.A.dylib]
in the indexer crash log

Does the app crash as soon as it loads the layout? Or does it only crash once you open a resource?

It seems likely that the corrupt database is /Users/jgraves11/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Data/gw2yx9el.uol/LibraryIndex/LibraryIndex.db, so delete the LibraryIndex.db (in the /LibraryIndex folder) and restart Logos.
This isn't as bad as deleting the Library Index folder but it may still perform some/all indexing. In addition, if this works it will also index about 46 bibles. If it doesn't work, you will have to delete the /LibraryIndex folder.

It crashes when I open a resource, it is opening a blank layout then I open a bible and the Bible opens and then it crashes.

John, I recommend renaming LibraryIndex.db to LibraryIndex.db.corrupt, if you have the space.
