All the talk in March Madness about Wright and Carson has made me ask a few more questions about the theological perspectives of both of them. Does anyone know of a resource that clearly compares and contrasts the theology of these men?
resource
I was hoping for more of an overview or a summary rather than a 3-hour video but that may be interesting too.
LOL, David,
Thanks.
I'm downloading this resource now. And will listen as I get time. Carson has a nice, easy-to-listen-to voice.

I have no dog in the NPP fight. I have a different perspective...I suppose it could be call the Old Perspective on Paul.
Well I followed your advice and actually listened to this entire 3-hour presentation. It was good but I still would like a concise summary. Perhaps one does not exist.

You're like the old woman who won't leave the poor judge in peace!

Now that made me laugh out loud! Are you comparing yourself to the judge? Also, who says that the widow was old? [;)] Luke 18 is a great passage that teaches persistence. Tell me, did the widow get what she wanted in the end? [:)] I think this link is more of what I was looking for. Thanks!

I realized I was leaving myself open to that remark...but no price is too high to pay for a hearty guffaw!

NP...or should I say...NPP!

Wow, I had to look up guffaw in a dictionary. You are much more educated than I am!
And very witty to boot!
Wow! 166 mb download. maybe will listen to it all during this year. [8-|]

Really? I am surprised. Maybe it is an age thing. Or a British thing [:D]
That being said, in an earlier existence I once had a boss who accused me of writing in Dickensian English. I told him that was poppycock [:D]

Maybe it is a British thing but I don't remember hearing that word before. My vocabulary is expanding.

That is funny!
Im pretty sure you can download a Tabletalk issue that has Carson and some other folks writing their views on Wrights theology. It is:

Thanks for the great suggestion Ben. I just ordered it and look forward to reading it.
I don't want to be a pest but the link you provided yesterday doesn't seem to work today. Any ideas why?
It just worked for me.
It didn't work for me. I followed the link back to the root website and searched for "new perspective." It pulled up the right page. I then went back to this thread, clicked on the link, and it worked. Weird.
This is really funny. I didn't work all last night and today but it works now. I'm wondering if they were doing work on the site. Anyhow, happy to have access to it again.
