Douglas, you have been a rich fount for ideas. Unfortunately, most of them are of little or no value. In this case why should Logos enter into the IPS market which is something not really a part of its field of expertise. Also, as I understand (I recall certain older posts), Logos itself purchases storage from other companies. The rule should be "stick to your knitting."

I did not know they borrowed from others...
I thought it would be good idea to be able to keep all of the things i have attached to logos through notes on my external hard drive, on Logos' harddrives, so i could access them anywhere without lugging a bunch of equipment around

Is this what you're looking for?

I don't remember what thread it was, but I think they use Amazon for storage.
George's point stands, regardless. Logos (and any business) should stick to what they are good at.

Buy a NAS drive (Network-Attached Storage). Then you can access it anywhere without lugging a bunch of equipment around.
Bit of an outdated article (with old UK prices) but it describes well the benefits of using a NAS drive for your external storage needs and more.

tcblack said it first & since Bradley only confirmed Thomas' prior claim, Thomas' statement stands higher. [:D]
The beautiful part is Thomas, Bradley, and Matthew all said it. Gotta be right.

Resource files, installers, and other "public" data are stored on Amazon S3.Your personal sync data is stored on our servers, which are completely under our control.0 -

That makes a lot of sense. It should also ease the distress some have of privacy issues. [:#] Thanks.

There are already many "cloud" storage options available that allow you access to PDFs, audio, files on your local computer from anywhere. The request to have them in Logos is a different matter. Once upon a time Bob Pritchett asked if we wanted PDF access through Logos. He never brought it up again and I think I know why. If we had PDF access in Logos there would be many resources we would not need to buy in the Logos format.
As for wanting to help Logos pay for storage expenses, just buy more resources and Bob will keep paying the storage fees. He believes in the "cloud." [li] ...Or, put the money on my account and I will make sure Logos gets it.[:D]

With visual filters for syllabification and accentuation. Norton critical editions with essays and references. Please.

Have you found the Donne PB? There may be something else as well. Check User Contributed Personal Books.

Sweet! Thank you! I guess I should have looked around a bit more. The Donne collections are great, and following on that suggestion, I also ran across The Harvard Classics, vol. 40-42: Complete English Poetry: Chaucer to Whitman (3 vols.) which has a very good sampling, including the complete Essay on Man by Pope.
KNOW then thyself, presume not God to scan,
The proper study of mankind is man.
Plac’d on this isthmus of a middle state,
A being darkly wise, and rudely great:
With too much knowledge for the sceptic side,
With too much weakness for the Stoic’s pride,
He hangs between; in doubt to act, or rest;
In doubt to deem himself a God, or beast;
In doubt his mind or body to prefer;
Born but to die, and reas’ning but to err;
Alike in ignorance, his reason such,
Whether he thinks too little or too much:
Chaos of thought and passion, all confus’d;
Still by himself abus’d or disabus’d;
Created half to rise, and half to fall;
Great lord of all things, yet a prey to all;
Sole judge of truth, in endless error hurl’d:
The glory, jest, and riddle of the world!0 -

They also have Milton's Paradise Lost, John Henry Newman's The Dream of Gerontius, and The Christian Book of Mystical Verse (edited by A.W. Tozer).

All your problems will be solved, you will begin to love your life, and butterflies will follow you around singing the hallelujah chorus. It's that good. Just put all your notes in the Dropbox folder, and they will magically appear in the same place on all other computers connect to your account. You'll also be able to access them through the web, iOS, and Android.

Thank you for those Rosie.
I know I should find a better way to say this, but I feel like a junkie getting his fix. I've got a shelf full of great poetry that I've let sit too long. Finding it again in digital versions that I can take with me makes me very happy. I only wish there were more, and I would especially love to see Norton Critical Editions. I have Norton's Paradise Lost, and the copious footnotes and essays are a great help when reading it.
