Bug - Layout Altered

For months now I have had a simple layout for my daily readings.
Info and Explorer on the right.
The ESV (no columns) on the its left
The Africa Bible Commentary next
and on the far left Highlighting
(on a second screen Bible Facts sits open on its own)
Each day I follow the M'Chayne plan set the commentary for the next day and save the layout.
Today the ESV has opened with a two column panel, I can see by the historical layouts that the layout I saved had a single column - why/how the change?

What are your Settings for loading a layout?
Is it possible that you got the similar layout from another installation (even if your Setting is Most recent - local)?
Do you activate the M'Chayne reading plan from within the layout (how do you get the next reading for the ESV)?

Can you adjust the settings for loading a layout?
I have a shortcut on my top bar which I use to launch the 'updated to last snapshot' layout. I 'update to last snapshot' at the end of each series of readings.Dave Hooton said:Is it possible that you got the similar layout from another installation (even if your Setting is Most recent - local)?
I don't think so.

Yes the M'Chayne reading plan is part of the layout and I simply click on the 'Mark Read' button penultimate to 'updating to last snap shot'.

I think Dave means your program settings under preferences… In more recent builds, Logos has added some new settings, including load to "most recent layout - local" and "most recent layout - any".

Thanks Alabama,
I have the program set to launch to the home page and always go to the reading plan layout from there using the short cut I have docked.
It opened correctly (to a single column) today.

In the panel menu for the ESV try setting the Columns option to None

I am able to reproduce this issue and I have reported it to Development.
The bug I have reported is that when a layout with the ESV is reopened, it will open to the settings that the ESV was most recently set to rather than the settings held in the layout. This occurs for all resources.

Is that the bug? There are people dying for that "feature!" [:P]

I was able to replicate that scenario in Windows, but you had to work a little while before the new setting "stuck" so as to override re-loading the same layout.
