I too find it very difficult to read with the current font style. It causes my eye to sore. I don't have any problem reading it on computer.
Is there a timeline of this feature to change font style to be introduced?
Thanks

Hi Andy,
The font choice feature will probably be introduced in the version 4.x timeline, so it's going to be a while longer. Sorry for the trouble.

That doesn't really tell us much since we don't know the schedule. I would hope it would be in the next couple of months. I would hate to have to wait much longer to get a font that it easier to read (for those who have problems with it, including me). Especially when we had a good font that didn't get any complaints---and it was removed.

Todd,
I've shared as much as I know. If you personally asked the lead iOS developer you would get the same answer. As evidenced by my previous posts, I personally prefer the old font. However, there are other major efforts afoot and the font choice feature is currently a lower priority.

You are preaching to the choir (no pun intended), but please think positive. The previous font change might have been a blessing in disguise resulting in the possibly future ability to use multiple fonts (not just the "old" and "new" fonts).

Thanks for the info, Kevin. I wasn't really directing my comments at you, but rather at the one who sets the schedules. I figured there's some new cross-platform functionality being worked on since we haven't had much visible progress lately. Compared to infrastructure changes, the font selection can seem like a less important change---if you're one who already likes the current font. For those of us who don't, we see a problem every time we use the app.
I'm positive because I know the changes are coming. But I sympathize with those who have more problems with the current font than I do.

I recognise fonts may be of low priority to a developer, but for me it's high priority as it puts me off purchasing further product from Logos because I don't enjoy the reading experience.
Hope we don't have to wait too much longer
