Galaxy Note II
Is anyone using Logos on the Galaxy Note II phone? I currently have an iPhone and am considering either holding off for the iPhone 5S (I really don't care for the iPhone 5), or switching to the Galaxy Note II. What's appealing to me on the Note II is the screen looks like it'd be perfect for reading Logos books on a phone. My iPhone screen is a little cramped, and I've considered an iPad or iPad Mini, but then I'd have to activate a cellular plan on the iPad to read on the go, so I'm looking at the Note II as an option.
I'm curious as to if anyone's use Logos on it.

I'm not sure what you mean by this. Why do you say that? You can download any books you want to read on the go. You can even have your whole library available offline if you are so inclinded.

Hi Nathan
I bought the Galaxy Note 1 for this very reason, and it's perfect. I've read several books through entirely on the phone now, and over the Christmas period have been reading the Dead Sea Scrolls through. Absolutely love it. It's the mini-tablet you always have with you, so it's perfect.
It doens't replace the desktop software for serious bible study, of course.

I use the Note II regularly for reading Logos books. Love it. Love the battery life, screen size, speed. Get it, you won't regret the purchase.

True. That would be a possible workaround. My problem is I'm pretty limited to Wi-Fi, so usually I stream books on my iPhone since I'm seldom around Wi-Fi.

That's good to know! Definitely my desktop/notebook is ideal for in-depth study, but reading books on the go would be nice with that screen.

That's great. I went to look at it again today and do like what I see. I'll ponder it over more and consider it.

I too have the Note 2 and love it. I can't imagine going back to anything less than a 5.5" screen now.

For anyone following my posts on CC Mag or StillTruth.com, you'll notice that recently I went for the Note II. Man I'm glad I did! The 5.5" screen is perfect for reading Logos books on the go. It's like a mini-tablet I always have with me. Since getting it, I've been spending much more time in the Logos app really getting solid use out of it. It's the perfect phone for reading.

Excellent, Nathan. It's as you say: you always have this mini-tablet with you (where you wouln't always carry a tablet), so have thousands of books in your pocket. It is a great screen to read on. And your hightlighting syncs up to your computer too.

I just got a Note II. I wasn't so sure I'd like the size, but man is the screen great for reading Logos resources in the Logos app. This satisfies my need for a pocket-able device for on-the-go reading and media consumption. The battery last forever. While it is big for making and taking calls, it isn't as bad as I thought it would be.
