Repeatable crash for me...please confirm.

Open Logos
Click on really small icon top left to reveal menu that slides from left.
Click on magnifying glass to reveal go menu
Slide once to the right to reveal daily readings

If you wait a moment, Logos app will crash. If it does not, choose My Utmost and it will crash.

I can confirm that on the Nexus 7. Locks up as soon as I swipe to the Daily Readings page and then crashes. Can't swipe beyond that page.

This is NOT crashing on my Samsung Galaxy Nexus phone. Cannot find any way to repeat it there. Not sure what is different.

It's not limited to the Daily Reading pane. If I long press the back button to get to the history and then swipe right to the previous page (Guides), it also crashes. Again on the Nexus 7, but not the Galaxy Nexus.

This happened to me also. The first time it happened, it was a crash-pahlooza, bringing down the whole phone. After reboot, it crashed with a force-close. I thought I had found the temporary work-around: I have a reading plan that was a month or so ahead and had been idle a while. I went to Biblia.com and clicked on the links and gave it a chance to sync. I opened Bible up on my phone and then I was able to page through Devotionals to Search without a crash. That was last night. I just tried that again, but it didn't work this time, and crashed again.

Could people experiencing this crash also include any other logos apps they may be using on other platforms like Logos 4/5 for Windows/Mac, iOS, etc? Also, please include the specific version of those apps that you are using or atleast if it's the latest stable or beta version. We do expect to get a fix out for this issue sometime today.

The crash seems to be related to custom bible reference search ranges and the reason why it's crashing on the daily readings pane is because the next pane over is the search pane and the next/previous panes get loaded whenever you swipe left/right. The saved bible reference search ranges are synced across devices and apps.

Desktop & Tablet running Windows 8 and Logos 5.1 Beta 6.

Funny, I tested quite a bit yesterday and while my Nexus 7 crashed every time, I couldn't get my Galaxy Nexus phone to crash. Now they both are crashing. Something must of synced to the phone after my testing.

I am using Mac Beta (Current) and Logos for Android Beta (Current). I also have a stable version of the iOS app on my iPad.

Installing the latest Android or iOS Beta should solve crashes people are experiencing in the Android apps that started on Monday.

The Android crash is specific to users who installed the Logos 5.1.0.0895 desktop beta released on Monday. Unfortunately the Android crash occurs in both the stable release of the Android apps (2.3.12) through to the previous beta (2.4.1). If you still happen to be running the Logos 5.1.0.0895 beta please upgrade to the latest 5.1 beta.

Once you've upgraded your Logos desktop 5.1 beta and installed a new iOS or Android beta any other devices with older versions of the Android reader apps should stop crashing and do not need to be upgraded to the latest beta. The latest Android/iOS beta will migrate your saved bible reference search ranges to a new format so if you do continue to use an older version of the mobile apps (iOS or Android) you may notice that your saved bible reference search ranges only appear on devices running the new beta version.
