Style Guides in Logos

After poking around and only finding this post; I'm suggesting a set of style guides in Logos.
For instance:
- The Associated Press Stylebook
- Turabian
- The Elements of Style
- The Elements of Typographic Style
- ISO 690
- MHRA Style Guide
- MLA Handbook
- MLA Style Manual
- The New York Times Manual
- The Oxford Guide to Style/New Hart's Rules
- The Publication Manual of the APA
- The ASA Style Guide
Of course with a hat tip to Bob Pritchett: On Writing Well I'll also suggest On Writing Well, by William Zinsser.
Sarcasm is my love language. Obviously I love you.

This one is not even available on Kindle - there's a rip off study guide to the book that is more expensive than the book itself.
Style Guides would be useful to have in Logos.

Not quite a year late, but I agree that this is sorely needed [Y]

All right, TC. That was a pretty big bump. Let's see your proof of insurance. [;)]

You didn't mention SBL handbook of style. Given Logos' excellent relationship with SBL, this one should be a priority, shouldn't it?
This is my personal Faithlife account. On 1 March 2022, I started working for Faithlife, and have a new 'official' user account. Posts on this account shouldn't be taken as official Faithlife views!

If I could edit the first post, I would add it to the list.Mark Barnes said:You didn't mention SBL handbook of style. Given Logos' excellent relationship with SBL, this one should be a priority, shouldn't it?

Time to bump this thread along a little.
SBL has just announced the release of the second edition of their Handbook. A discussion of the digital version (a link at the bottom) indicates that it will be “a number of years” before it's available electronically (I presume as a PDF for members).
So Logos could actually enjoy a captive audience panting for such an electronic version...
