The ipad app allows users to download their entire library with one click, I do boot see that feature for android. Am I missing something? I would love to down load all of my resources with one click rather than doing it one at a time. Please help!

Thanks, Richard

Sorry I do not know the answer to your question. I'm sure someone will get to this.

Meanwhile; I bought an iPad with 64GB so I can download my whole library. I was advised not to download everything. I don't know why it was advised against. Maybe it is also inadvisable to download everything to your Android.

Unless a feature has been added recently, I don't think that you can download all in one go. You can however download a set of up to 75 books per set. i.e. So if you have tynedale or pillar commentary set you can download them all. Just type in the name of the set, or author and go from there and you can click download all. If you have fewer books use the author's name. p.s. It took me a few hours for most of my library.

    All the best,

You could try going into your desktop app and selecting your entire library then putting a check mark in the “download all to” box next to the appropriate device. I don’t want all of mine on my android so I’m not feeling adventurous enough to try it [:O]

Thanks for the answers and insight. Unfortunately, I do not have a desktop or laptop at this time so i am using my android tablet alone for all of try study and research.

Possibly a feature of Android being used on such a wide variety of devices (many of which are 8GB or smaller and contain many other apps) leaving the space available for downloaded resources small enough that most users could not fit all their resouces onto an Android device.  With the move to 64GB and larger tablets this restriction is quickly disappearing and a design rethink re this feature may be useful.

It would need to include an appropriate reminder to those less conversent with capacity limitations that downloading all their resources to Android may still result in them not all fitting, depending on the specific device, the size of the library and the number of other applications, photos, music files etc they want on their device.  Would be better if there were an option to download the library to an insertable SD card, but that is another long story of "not quite there yet" .... [:(]

What actually happens when you do this? I have selected a number of resources and clicked 'Download all to...' and identified my device, but I don't see anything happening.

Ok, what happens is that after a while the books show as downloadable in the Android app, and you can press a button in the app to download them all.
