This looks like too much for Report Typo; it looks like both resources needs to be thoroughly checked. Which probably means the other encyclicals need to be checked as well.

The error appears to be in the original 5:1-7 vs. an intended 5:4-7 with colon misplaced.

I'm sorry. I don't see anything in either of these books close to fgh's small screenshot. I navigated to V. 7 in both and don't see footnotes similar to fgh's screenshot in either book.

The footnotes apparently match the source material and is thus by design.
I've now checked the Vatican website, and you're correct: the errors are there as well, so it's not Logos' fault. I very much doubt it's "by design", though. It looks to me like OCR errors in the Latin version. I wrote a note to Andrew to see if he can do anything.
Update: Andrew has promised to see if something can be done.
