Does anyone know if you can search for Greek Text on the Iphone?  In L4 you enter "greek:" or "g:" and you get greek text with a nice drop down list.

Is it possible on the Iphone to do this?  the "greek:" thing doesn't seem to work.

I was able to search for Greek with the "g:" prefix in the Word Study tool. I'm not sure about anywhere else. I didn't see any drop down.

    James,

Thanks.  I can't do it there either.... I must be using the wrong resource or something.  I think I am searching NASB.  Is there a way of changing that?

    Any other ideas?

Go to your iphone settings outside logos settings:

General --> Keyboard --> International Keyboards

Most likely everything but English is switched off. Turn Greek on. Then when you're in the word study guide (under "More" in the app and typing in your word, you'll see a button at the bottom shaped like a globe with latitude & longitude lines on it. Tapping that will change your keyboard to Greek. Only one accent is possible though and no breathing marks. Currently, it works best for the word study guide. Searching Greek texts is possible, but will only pull up surface forms of words and not lexemes.

Thank you so much for that quick explanation, it has allowed me to successfully use BDAG on my iPhone, as long as i know the lexical root of the word at least. Better than nothing!

Next to try Hebrew in HALOT...
