Can i download Logos 5 on both mac and PC, after making my first purchase of the bronze package?
Welcome to the forums, Robert! [:)]
Yes. You can install Logos on as many computers as you own, for your personal usage. This includes Mac & PC's. You will also be able to take advantage of the various mobile apps.

I am not the original poster, but thanks for your response. In the past, as I understood it, you had to purchase a Mac or PC version. From your post, I assume those days are gone. It certainly makes sense. So thus, you as saying that if one owns a PC and has Logos and the same person owns an ipad or ipod or if one owns a mac and an android, there also would not be an issue with having L5 installed.
Correct?

To be sure....My laptop is a MacBook (mac) and i have a desktop that has Windows 7. if at checkout i select the Logos 5 Mac version, will Logos allow me to download a windows AND Mac versions?
I run Logos 5 on a MBP and a Win 7 desktop. No problems and no additional costs... multi platform software.

Yes. Not only that, but you can download the software engine for each platform now, without even paying! The resources are platform agnostic. I think the only reason they have Mac or PC in the purchase is in case you are having a DVD mailed to you with the resources.
FYI - I think it might be better for you to actually call logos and speak to a sales person. I know that some users have been stuck waiting for the DVD to arrive, when they could have downloaded the app & software in the meantime.

Yep. You can have Logos installed on all of those devices. NOTE: "Logos 5" is a desktop application. The mobile applications provide access to most (but not all) of the resources. The features of the desktop and mobile apps, however, are not the same (the mobile apps arent as "full featured"). Notes, highlights, and reading plans sync between those devices.
Yes, alabama, I am aware of that. So this really is great. Now with android becoming so popular...I wonder how difficult it would be to produce a Linux installer...While Linux is not popular on a PC, it is popular on all android devices. I know this has been discussed in the past...so I am just thinking out loud. L5 resources for the most part work on both Mac and PC...all that is needed is an installer. Could it be possible for a simplified installer to be added for Linux? I can keep hoping...

It isn't an installer, but the actual software engine which would need to be created. I don't know if the Mac version would be of any help in that area (since OSX is a Unix based OS). In any case, Logos has made it fairly clear that it isn't a simple matter, and that they won't likely be moving in that direction without a much larger base of users.

Android SDK has an emulator for open source distributions => https://developer.android.com/tools/devices/emulator.html that could run the Logos mobile app for Android.
Open source distributions use a variety of software packages for installation => https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Linux_package_formats that includes apk for Android
