I think the main website is down. Anyone else having problems?
Logos.com is down at the moment. We are actively working on it.
Certainly makes cloud-based resources less appealing—3 hours and counting since Rosie reported this in another thread.

Am I missing something? I currently have full access to my online (cloud-based) resources, but the website is still down. I have not read of anyone having problems with their "cloud-based" resources. Was Rosie having troubles with that?
I do my devotional reading on my IPad.
As of right now, any of my dated devotional resources open on the title page and not to the reading for today'date. For this this effects- More Light on the Path, Connect the Testaments, Revised Common Lectionary Daily Readings. Also Hebrew and Greek lookout are not working- well they work to say information not available.

This is the first time I can remember it being down. Of course I've only been using Logos for a couple of years, but I don't think this is a reason to reconsider cloud based resources. I expect these down times will be rare.

Perhaps you slept in this morning [;)]. Could not long into L5 early this morning. That was the reason for my comment. Can long in now.

That has not been my experience
Could not long into L5 early this morning.
But you could work offline, right? Or no?
I can confirm:
Certain features at least of the android Logos app do not work when the website is down. Such as Passage Guide.

Yes, I can work offline. However, I still cannot log into Logos online.
Even acted like a Windows user and rebooted—still no joy [:'(]
I am still down as of now. I can read my offline stuff, but nothing online.

On mobile or L5? If the former, are you on iOS or Android? If the later, do you just mean the homepage?
My Logos desktop had downloaded a resource and was waiting to install it. It could not do so without sign-in. The sign-in could not e completed without a connection to Logos.com So "NO", I could not work offline. Disturbing.
It looks like the site just came back up. The other sites in the Logos family, like Biblia.com and Vyrso.com were also down and are now back up as well.
The website is back up again! Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Please let us know if you continue to have any issues. Thanks!
The website is back up again!
Great it is back. Surprising how you don' realize how much you rely on something until it is gone!
Would be interesting to have a list of the functionality that does not work without an internet connection/logos website. In the desktop app and in the other apps such as Android/iOS. Maybe this is listed somewhere?
I knew I could continue to read downloaded offline content, but I didn't realise some functionality would not be available. How reliant are we on the logos website being accessible?
Was the webste attacked by a hacker named "Megatron"?
Yes, but then Optimus Prime stepped in and worked things out [:)] Actually, we were just doing some routine maintenance but it kept us from coming back online. We are working hard to make sure this doesn't happen again! Thank you for your patience.

Funny, but I was being serious. We had a strange post to the forums giving advance warning of a video post coming in the future. It was titled something akin to "I love Greece" and Milford Charles Murray decrypted the post to say it was "Megatron" posting. Sounded strange to praise modern Greece for Koine Greek instead of praising God or Alexander for introducing it. It was a convoluted post n my perspective.
Peace, Matthew! *smile* Yes! I remember that one! Found it extremely "interesting," to say the least! *smile* It seems we've never heard back from "Megatron" ......

That's not the story I heard from Cameron: http://community.logos.com/forums/p/64680/493322.aspx#493322
Also, usually when there's going to be planned routine maintenance, there's a post on that other thread I linked to giving us a heads up (or something to search for and find the reason for the downtime). In this case, there was no such advance warning.
Anyway, I'm glad it's back up again, and hope in the future there are not such long downtimes.

Can't think for the life of me why someone who doesn't have Logos would be posting though. Unless he's up to no good, or using Libronix. Either way, very peculiar [:P]

It started as planned routine maintenance, and then turned into an outage.
Would that then be unplanned non-routine maintenance? [^o)]
Sorry, my post count was becoming anemic [:D]
