Moved L5 to second hard drive

Greetings All,

I am using two 180 gig ssd hard drives. I removed L5 from the C drive and installed L5 on the second hard drive. The indexer starts up each time L5 is opened and then the indexer stops working with error message and L5 continues to work fine. There are also times when I get the message L5 is downloading and it never finishes or just goes away. Here are the all of the log files, not sure which ones you need to see. I am running Windows 7 Pro, I-7 cpu, 12 gig of ram. Thanks in advance for your help!!

Ok, here are all of the logs...

FYI...there is no C:\Users\Shine\AppData\Local\Logos4\Data\xfjfzjbi.p33 folder that I can see...nor any AppData folder in the C drive.

That would be a hidden folder - read the article to see this folder.

However I'm puzzled as to how you removed the installation off the C:\ drive as the latest indexer log shows everything on C:\Users\Shine\AppData\Local\Logos4\. An earlier log shows it as installed to B:\Users\Shine\AppData\Local\Logos5\

I am not ignoring you Dave...I am moving other programs to the second hard drive...I will give more details when this is worked out...should have never tried to put L5 on a separate hard drive...that or Logos could let us choose where to put the prerequisites and folders...thanks for checking up on me Dave and for reminding me of the hidden folder...(DUH!!)

You can choose a Custom install from the Setup program and specify the path where you want Logos to be e.g. E:\ will install it to E:\Logos5, whilst specifying E:\Logos will install it to E:\Logos\Logos5. But you must first uninstall Logos as you can't move its folder(s) [but see Method 2 at http://wiki.logos.com/Quick_Installation_onto_multiple_computers].

Don't worry about PreRequisites as this data has to go into System folders like Fonts, C:\Windows.
