Hi
What is your experience like using Logos 5.0 on a "Touch" large all in one in your home office for work and study?
Do you own or know of a machine under $1K? Do you ever wish you had a smaller tablet you could detach?
I’m running Logos 5.0 on a Gateway ZX6900-33 with Windows 8 Pro, an additional 23 inch monitor attached, and 8GB memory. It performs great! Their entire ZX line is less than $1000.
Do you ever wish you had a smaller tablet you could detach?
Not really.
Discontinued and out of stock. Thanks for the reply though.

I didn’t reference the page so you could buy it; just so you could see what it was. You would need, and want, a newer model. [:$]

Thankful for 27" iMac with 2560 x 1440 resolution plus Logos 5 having Full Screen option.
Wiki => http://wiki.logos.com/Extended_Tips_for_Highlighting_and_Visual_Filters#Examples_of_visual_filters has some 27" screen captures.

Dell Outlet posts coupon codes on twitter. Noticed graduation sale has 30 % off for any Home PC over $ 1,000 until 11 June 2013:
Noticed XPS One 2700 with Touch screen is $ 1,259.00 so 30 % coupon reduces price to $ 881.30 plus taxes and shipping. The $ 1,195.00 refurbished model with a non-touch screen has a different coupon code that reduces price to $ 720.00, which is a 39.75 % discount:
Before purchasing Windows 8, suggest visiting a store and trying out user interface, which is quite different than Windows 7 and seems better with a touch screen.
Thankful for a Dell Outlet tablet and wiki installation steps => http://wiki.logos.com/Quick_Installation_onto_multiple_computers for offline use since Atom CPU is a bit underpowered for Logos 5 use. Dell XPS 12 is convertible, albeit a bit heavy:
With 30 % discount, $ 1,029 reduces to $ 720.30 plus taxes and shipping.

too slow.
too expensive.
awesome sharing though.
I don't think you get the same dollar value out of an all-in-one. I was rather chomping at the bit for a new PC and even wiling to spend more, when I realized that I'd rather have more Logos or other resources than a super zippy computer. I wound up ordering a refurb HP Envy desktop $475 (versus about $700 new) on the web, and a 20 inch HP screen locally at Walmart for $129. It's a Win 8 not a W8Pro machine, but it runs like a champ. Lots of RAM and storage, 2GB video, and a fast 6 core processor. Very happy with it so far.
Mab do you have a touchscreen? Logos running well on it?
