The photos in the Baker Illustrated Reference Collection are simply breath taking and the illustrations are just so incredibly clear. This collection far surpassed my expectations. You did an incredible job with these resources and I thank you for bringing them into my library. You help make my Bible study a truly enjoyable and productive experience. Thank you for all you do!

Yes, I was just saying pretty much the same thing to myself earlier today when I was exploring them.
I looked at some of the sample pages on the web site. Are the pictures formatted in such a way that they could be copied to a power point? It appears that the pictures are typically not rectangular. The book text wraps around the image. It makes for attractive images but my question is whether they can be incorporated into lesson preparation.
The images are all rectangular and will be fine for PowerPoint. In fact, Logos has outdone themselves (and Baker probably cooperated). The pictures in the Logos edition are way better than the print edition. For example, this post shows some scans from the print edition.
Now here are those first two images as they look in Logos:

Nice!
I hope they can update some of the older resources with images of that quality as well.
Now I'm sorry to have missed this resource when it was on Pre-Pub.
How does Baker Illustrated Handbook compared with Halley's Bible Handbook? Halley is cheaper.
They are so much better than some of the illustrations in earlier 'illustrated' works in Logos.
The four resources were about a 650 MB download, IIRC. That gives you an idea of the quality of the photos and illustrations. They are some of the largest works in my Resources folder (the Illustrated Bible Commentary is the largest outside of the Logos database BiblicalPlacesMaps).
Lots of server download time for Logos. Thanks from me as well.
Well it did save $30, but not like a CP price where you save hundreds. Still some very good reference material.
Just noted this other Baker Illustrated resource on pre-pub in case it's of interest:

It would be nice to be able to get the Visual Guides (Gospel Events and Bible Events) independently of the Commentary and Handbook resources.

I must have been lucky.. it was $17.95 when i put it on Pre-pub. Not sure why they changed the price.

Thanks, Travis - I'd missed this one and it looks like a great resource at a reasonable price.
I had forgotten about both of these. I see I had preordered both of the Baker Illustrated titles mentioned by Paul and Travis but it seems the price of the Illustrated Guide to Everyday Life in Bible Times saw a significant price increase while in prepub. I’m glad I grabbed that one early.
I recently bought this set, and I like the quality of the illustrations!
Couldn't agree more! It's stunning! I'm just going through them and love every bit of it!
