5.1B6 Bug: Shift-Enter in lists

Please enable the standard shift-enter when working within an ordered list or numbered list to allow a line break within the bullet point and not create a new bullet point
Here is a video comparing the function in Logos versus the standard in Word (which works in most other programs) which represents my expected behavior. I believe that this expected behavior used to work within Logos notetaking.

Thanks for bringing it to our attention. This will be fixed in beta 8. (not the "next beta" which I had previously mentioned)

Hi guys - just checking something.
Jacob confirmed that it was fixed in b8 - does it look like is has regressed or is it possible that two different issues are being discussed?

I am able to reproduce this not working on Mac. I will report this to Development.
Shift-enter works as expected on Windows.

The shortcut is different, but the feature is working on Mac. Try Ctrl-Return.

OK. It works. But why is it different than any other program? I use Shift-Enter to do the same thing in MSFT Word, for example. Apple's Pages allows for either keyboard shortcut. Would it be difficult to add Shift-Enter?

From my brief research, it seems to me that Ctrl-Return is the standard Mac shortcut (try TextEdit). However Microsoft brought Shift-Return from Windows with its products (as did Adobe with InDesign), so other developers (including Apple itself with Pages -- probably in order to match InDesign) seemed to follow suit. This has led to confusion regarding the "standard" shortcut. Many apps now support both to avoid the confusion.
Several of our mac developers are at WWDC this week, but I will bring up your concern with them.

Thanks Alan. My preference would be both, my second choice would be "shift."
I'm glad some of the Logos Mac Devs had quick fingers and got to go... It sold out in 90 seconds!
